Foster Homes

We have an urgent need for fostering kittens & puppies who are, or will soon be ready for their new homes.

Our rescue does not have a physical location, so we need to continue to grow a wonderful    network of compassionate, caring foster parents who understand the difference that fostering makes.  This requires an 8 - 12 week commitment. Here are the requirements:

   -   Under 4 weeks: need to be bottle fed every 2-4 of hours (all supplies provided - kennel, blankets, formula, bottles...)

   -   8 to 12 weeks: transition to soft food & socialization

   -  Also, foster homes for feral kittens up to 12 weeks of age. These kittens require caregivers who can devote many hours to socialization.

Volunteers

No Kill Glynn County is working diligently to make a difference for the animals of Glynn County. Whether it’s posting flyers on community bulletin boards, working directly with animals at a community pet event, or delivering pet food and supplies to a family in need, there is always plenty to do. If you would prefer to just spend some time volunteering on your computer at home, we need your help there as well.

We’re happy to have all types of volunteers on board but are currently looking for help with the following specific volunteer needs:

  • Volunteers at adoption events in Jacksonville, FL.
  • Volunteers for local adoption events (usually 11-3 on Saturday).
  • Dedicated assistance with transporting animals for spay & neuter appointments. This requires 2 - 4 hours per trip depending on location of services.  Animals will be transported via supplied kennels.
  • Volunteers to deliver pet food to owners in need (most locations are in Brunswick).

If you’re interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities with No Kill Glynn County, please contact us.
